Cond Nast Starts Providing Subscriptions [u]

Beginning?this week with all the New Yorker, Cond Nast will start out providing its personal subscription service, and are now on board with Apple's proposed revenue split. Among them, Hearst, TIME, and Newscorp, that is the majority of important magazine publications which have decided to play nicely together with the iPad.

The very good news for shoppers is that Cond will probably be substantially cutting their costs. Digital subscriptions will run $19.99 a year for monthlies, person troubles in the New Yorker, GQ, Wired and Glamour for just $1.99 a pop, and if you are a print subscriber, you get them free of charge. The New Yorker will probably be slightly pricier thanks to its additional frequent print schedule, at $59.99 a year or $5.99 a month for the weekly magazine.

UPDATE: I was wrong about Time Inc. They'll not be offering subscriptions utilizing Apple's service, they have only penned a deal to let print subscribers free of charge access to digital editions.
